Questions, bugs, or a number that's been bothering you — email us and we'll reply within a couple of days.
What to include
- Your device and OS version (e.g. iPhone 15, iOS 18; or Pixel 8, Android 14)
- The app version, from Settings → About
- What you expected, and what happened instead — especially the phone number you were looking up
- A screenshot, if the problem is something you can see
Common questions
- The app isn't released yet. If you reached this page from a store listing, you're looking at the public support URL ahead of launch — there's nothing to download yet.
- Number not found: the database starts with the most-queried Turkish numbers and grows from reported lookups. A "not in our records" result is honest, not a bug.
- Report a spammer: if a call rings and Kimo doesn't recognise it, the in-app Report button sends the number plus a short signal to the community score. Don't include anything personal about the call.
- Why contact access? Kimo reads your address book only to show you which numbers are already in your contacts versus which are unknown. The contacts themselves are never sent to our server. You can revoke access at any time in your device settings — Kimo will keep working for one-off lookups.
- Why phone-state access? to detect your own number on Android (so you can avoid looking yourself up). iOS doesn't need this permission for the same purpose. We never read call content.
- Restore a purchase: once subscriptions exist, Settings → Restore Purchases, with the same Apple ID / Google account used to buy.
- KVKK and your data: everything Kimo holds about you is yours to see, correct, or delete. The Privacy Policy lists your rights in plain Turkish; the email above reaches the data controller directly.
