Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026
Short version: TeenColor has no account and no cloud save of personal data. The pages you color, your palettes, and your finished pieces live on the device only — we run no server that holds them. The app shows advertising through AdMob (feature-flagged off in the public release until paid tiers launch), and saves finished pages to your photo library when you ask. We do not sell your data.
1. Who we are
TeenColor (package com.nevranizamoglu.teencolor) is made and operated by Nevra Nizamoğlu, based in Türkiye. For any privacy question or request, contact nevranizamoglu@gmail.com.
2. What stays on your device
Your content and progress are stored on the device only and never sent to us:
- The pages you have coloured, your saved palettes, your shade picks
- Bookmarks, finished markers, "in progress" state per page
- Settings — language, audio, accessibility preferences
- A local record of which collections you have downloaded from the content CDN
The glam pages themselves are downloaded from a content CDN so we can ship new collections without an app update. Each download includes the page artwork and a palette mapping; once on your device, it works fully offline.
Uninstalling the app removes all of it. Neither we nor you can recover it, so be aware that uninstalling loses your progress and any palettes or finished pages you have made.
3. Advertising
When the paid tier launches, the free version of the app will show advertising, served by Google AdMob. Ads are feature-flagged off in the current public release — the integration is wired in but stays disabled until you flip the relevant toggle.
To serve ads, Google may process your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device and OS information, and your interactions with the ads. We do not receive this data; Google acts as an independent controller for it.
Your choices
- In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the consent form Google provides the first time you launch asks whether ads may be personalised. You can change your answer at any time in Settings. Declining still means ads, just non-personalised ones.
- On iOS, the system asks separately for permission to track you across apps. If you decline, ads are non-personalised.
- You can reset or disable your advertising identifier in your device settings at any time.
Ad content is not ours. Ads are selected and delivered by Google. We do not control, endorse or guarantee what appears in them, and your dealings with an advertiser are between you and that advertiser. Report an inappropriate ad to nevranizamoglu@gmail.com and we will pass it on.
4. Saving finished pages
If you choose to save a finished coloring page, the app asks your device's permission to write to your photo library. We never upload your art to any server — saving happens entirely between the app and your photo library, and the page we save contains the same artwork your device already drew on screen.
5. Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We never see or receive your payment details, card number, or billing address.
We use RevenueCat to verify purchases and remember what you own across reinstalls. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier for your install, the product you bought, the transaction identifier and date, and your store country. It does not receive your name, email address, payment details, or any of the pages you have coloured.
6. Analytics
The public release ships without any third-party analytics. If we add analytics later, we will update this section before shipping them, and the app's What changed screen will announce it.
7. What we never do
- We do not sell or share your personal information, as those terms are used under the CCPA/CPRA.
- We do not collect your precise location.
- We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or other apps' files. (Saving a finished page writes to your photo library at your request — see §4.)
- We do not send you marketing email — we have no email address for you.
- We do not build advertising profiles ourselves.
8. Children
TeenColor is designed for teens and young adults interested in fashion, beauty, and lifestyle aesthetics. The app targets a general audience aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13, or the equivalent minimum age in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you are a parent with a concern about a child's use of the app, contact us at nevranizamoglu@gmail.com and we will respond.
9. Your rights, and how to use them
Depending on where you live you have rights over your personal information — under the GDPR (EEA/UK), the CCPA/CPRA (California), and KVKK (Türkiye), among others. These include the right to access what we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to processing, and to receive a copy.
In practice we hold nothing about you. There is no account, and we operate no server that stores your data — everything the app knows is on your device, and uninstalling deletes it. If you want to exercise a right or ask a question anyway, email nevranizamoglu@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
For data held by Apple, Google, RevenueCat and Google AdMob, use the controls in sections 3 and 5 or contact those companies directly. We can pass a request on, but they hold the data.
You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
10. Legal basis for processing (EEA/UK)
- Personalised advertising (when enabled): your consent, collected through the Google consent form and, on iOS, the system tracking prompt.
- Non-personalised advertising, purchase verification, and content delivery: our legitimate interest in funding, delivering, and improving the app.
11. International transfers
The providers named below operate globally, so your information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Those transfers rely on the standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards each provider maintains.
12. Security
- Data on your device is stored using the platform's own storage APIs (Hive boxes, SharedPreferences).
- All network connections use HTTPS/TLS.
- We never store payment information — Apple and Google handle every transaction.
No system is perfectly secure, but the amount of personal data involved here is deliberately small: there is no account to compromise.
